How long do flowers last in resin? Will they look the same as fresh?
-Your flowers will last forever! While some flowers may slightly change color over time, they still keep their natural shape and beauty for many years preserved in high quality clear epoxy resin. Our keepsakes are meant to be passed down to the next generation. -Every species and color of flower dries and reacts differently when being preserved. Oftentimes colors like reds and purples may darken, pinks may dry purple, lighter colors like pale yellows, pale pinks, and whites may turn ivory/cream or become more transparent. Petals may also develop translucent spots that are naturally caused by bruising, and may not show until resin is added. -We do offer color correction as an upgrade for specific flowers that will ensure your flowers stay a certain color. Just ask us for more info. -We cannot dry extremely dense plants such as succulents or cactus, but can use artificial ones. -All resin will naturally amber or yellow over time, keeping it out of direct sunlight and proper care will help prolong its beauty. We use professional grade and non-toxic epoxy resin with UV inhibitors in all of our creations. Adding a dark or colored background will help conceal amber coloring over time. -For wood shadow boxes that use no resin, keep in mind that flower color and shape may change over time. White, pale pink, and pale yellow flowers may turn ivory/cream and brown more easily, and reds and purples may turn darker. Color correction is recommended for most flowers in shadow boxes to prevent fading over time. The dried flowers are all sprayed with a preservative finishing spray to prolong their beauty. -All keepsakes should be kept away from direct sunlight, and away from extreme heat, cold, or humidity, and are for decorative indoor use only. After care instructions will be provided.
How do I know what size keepsake I should get for my bouquet?
-We always recommend a large Main Piece to get the best representation of your bouquet, though we know that it may not be in everyone’s budget. -If you are undecided, you can always book with the smallest size Main Piece and upgrade your size or shape later -You can also bring us additional flowers from a centerpiece or bridesmaids bouquets to make sure we have enough for your entire order, and we will use the best flowers.
Can you put other special items in resin?
-Absolutely! We have encased several other items besides flowers in resin including cremation ashes, feathers, seashells, stones, dried mushrooms, pet fur/hair, fabric swatches, lace, laminated photos, jewelry, charms, prayer cards, laminated invitations, cake toppers, and other sentimental items. -Please make sure any paper or photo items are laminated before sending them to us. -As long as the items are fully dried and clean, we can most likely encase them in resin for you.

You can check out examples of keepsakes and talk to us more about the process. -We have all of our ready made items listed on our Etsy Shop if you’re ever in need of some last minute gift ideas!

How do I get my flowers to you? How soon do you need them?
-Fresh flowers must be either hand delivered to our shop in McHenry, IL or shipped overnight 1-5 days after the event. The sooner you get your fresh flowers to us, the better! -After payment is received, we will email you our easy to follow instructions on how to package and ship them to us. -We accept flowers from all over the USA and have successfully received flowers from all 50 states! -Please keep your flowers in a vase with fresh water until you are ready to ship them.
I have previously dried or artificial flowers, can you use those?
-Absolutely! We can work with flowers that have been previously air dried or pressed. Some of our keepsakes have included flowers that were dried over 100 years ago! -We can also use silk, artificial, and wood flowers, and other special occasion objects.
How long does the whole process take?
-Turnaround time is about 6-10 months after I receive the flowers. This is just an estimate and not a guarantee. I always try my best to finish orders as soon as possible. -Everything is meticulously handmade and the process cannot be rushed, but totally worth the wait!
Can you recreate my bouquet?
Yes! You are welcome to work with a florist of your choice and have the flowers sent to us, or use one of our recommended florists near us or to special order specific flowers and have your bouquet recreated. Shoot us an email to discuss further!
Do you offer color correction?
-Yes we do offer color correction as an upgrade for specific flowers only. It is recommended for certain flowers that have dramatically changed color, or were damaged, and most tropical flowers and greenery. -Keep in mind that color corrected flowers are hand painted and will have somewhat of a different look compared to natural flowers. -If you are interested in this extra service, please reach out for a consultation.
Why can't I just DIY with resin? It looks easy!
-We highly recommend not to try to preserve your own special flowers. It took us several years of trial and error to get professional results. Videos online may make it seem “easy” because most are professionals that have been doing this for years. So many things can go wrong when working with resin if the conditions (temperature and humidity) aren’t perfect, using cheap materials, table isn’t level, improper mixing and measuring, and overheating (flashcure). -Once items are encased in resin, they are there forever and cannot be taken out or fixed. -By the time you buy all of the necessary equipment and supplies to preserve your flowers, you could have had a professional do it for less, and with much better results. You truly get what you pay for!
Do accept returns, exchanges, or refunds?
-No, we do not. For all custom orders we cannot accept any returns or exchanges. If there is a problem with your order, please let us know right away. -All sales are final, and all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
