Bupp Woodworks and Designs specializes in professional flower preservation, fine woodworking, and resin artwork. We are located in McHenry, IL USA and accept fresh, dried, and artificial flowers from all over the country. We are a small business that has over 6 years experience in resin and floral preservation, and over 10 years experience in woodworking. If you are looking for custom keepsakes for a wedding, memorial, or other special occasion, you have come to the right place! We offer over 40 different items that fit every style and budget.

 

Now a little about us: We are the Bupps! We (Tina and Trevor) are a wife and husband team, and have two beautiful daughters and lots of animals that keep us very busy. We are located in Northern Illinois and recently just opened a new storefront and workspace.

Trevor has worked in the construction and building industry for over 15 years, doing everything from new home building, electric, renovations, cabinetry, and woodworking. He has a high knowledge of power tools and has developed excellent craftsmanship. He has always wanted to start his own business creating fine woodworking items and custom furniture.

Tina has always had a passion to create, and studied fine arts in college. She has worked with many mediums including acrylics and oil paints, pastels, inks, scratch board, and loves natural elements. Over the last 6 years, she has worked on perfecting and creating artwork with epoxy resin and specializes in flower preservation. She also does all of the photography, social media, and websites.

Together, we decided to create some handmade items in our garage, mostly as gifts for family and friends. Our creations received excellent feedback and it generated a big response from others. So now, a few years later, we have Bupp Woodworks & Designs!

 

Our garage and workshop is now loaded with tools, scrap wood, live edge slabs, and lots of projects and new ideas in the works. We try our best to re-purpose wood and be as environmentally responsible as possible. We also like to use high quality hardwoods such as walnut, maple, cherry, hickory, padauk, purpleheart, and spalted woods. We use professional grade epoxy resin in all of our projects that has UV inhibitors, and is also food safe and non-toxic.
